FILTRATION – Four stages of mechanical filtration:
-
10 µm particulate pre-filter.
-
Formulated activated carbon filter.
-
HEPA filter ASHRAE – H14 (99.99% at 0.3 µm).
-
Carbon impregnated post filter.
UV DISINFECTION – Two or four germicidal UV lamps providing a total UV dosage of 13,000 to 26,000 µWsec/cm² to inactivate micro-organisms.
Working Principle:
-
The air is recirculated to 4 inlet grills (7’’ x 10’’ – 178 x 254 mm).
-
Particles > 10 µm are trapped by the pre-filter.
-
The air then passes trough an activated carbon filter, optimised to treat odors problems, VOC’s and chemical pollutants.
-
After 99.99% of particles and micro-organisms > 0.3 µm are filtered by an HEPA filter H14.
-
Viruses, bacteria, fungi, allergens and molds are finally destroyed by UVC germicidal irradiation in the UV zone.
-
Purified air is discharged via a post filter and a patented air discharge system “Topflow” that maximizes the room effective air change rate.

FILTRATION – Four stages of mechanical filtration:
1 Pre-filter of 102 mm – 25-30% ASHRAE – G4
HEPA filter ASHRAE- H14 (99.99% at 0.3 µm) – DOP
UV DISINFECTION – Two or four germicidal UV lamps providing a total UV dosage of 13,000 to 26,000 µWsec/cm² to inactivate micro-organisms
Working Principle:
The top of the unit installed at 1.98 m above floor level creates a complete mixing pattern. The unit sends clean air to the upper part of the room, forcing heavier particles and droplet nuclei down away from breathing zone and into unit’s inlet.
Details
The air is recirculated into the bottom part of the machine
Larger particles are trapped into the pre-filter (G4 – 25-30% ASHRAE)
The air then passes through the UVGI (UV germicidal irradiation) chamber, a highly effective germicide, that destroys virus, bacteria, fungi and molds
Finally 99.97% of particles and micro-organisms > 0.3 µm are filtered by the HEPA filter H14. This filter is constantly bathed by UV lamps. As the filter traps only micro-organisms that have been destroyed by UVC’s, there is no risk of replication in case of the unit is switched off
Purified air is discharged, in the top part of the unit, via a discharge system specially designed (“Upflow”) to maximize and optimize the room effective air change rate
